Priest Lauderdale
Priest Lauderdale (born August 31, 1973) is an American-Bulgarian former professional basketball player. College career Lauderdale attended high school at Carver Military Academy, in Chicago, Illinois. After high school, Lauderdale played college basketball at Central State University, in Wilberforce, Ohio, where he played with the Central State Marauders (1993–1994). Lauderdale also attended Kaskaskia College, in Centralia, Illinois, but he did not play competitive basketball while he was there. Professional career After college, Lauderdale, a 7'4" (2.24 m) tall, 330 lbs. (150 kgs), center, played professionally in the Greek Basket League. He played with Peristeri Athens, during the 1995–96 season. He also played in the Greek League All-Star Game that season. Lauderdale was selected in the first round, with the 28th overall pick of the 1996 NBA draft, by the Atlanta Hawks. Bulgarian Basketball Cup
The Bulgarian Basketball Cup is an annual cup competition, organized by the Bulgarian Basketball Federation since 1951. The cup was not held in 1957, 1958, 1960 and 1961. BC CSKA Sofia is the all-time record holder with 18 titles. Format Since 2009, except from 2017-2019, the Final Eight format has been used and from 2010 only teams from the first tier participate in it. The eight teams play a play-off at one venue, over four days, eventually producing a winner. The National Basketball League (NBL) (in Bulgarian: Националната баскетболна лига) is the highest professional basketball league in Bulgaria. The current league was founded in 2008, though the first-tier level existed since 1942 and was previously called the Bulgarian A Division. The games in the NBL are played under FIBA rules. HEBA Greek All Star Game
The HEBA Greek All-Star Game, also known as the EKO Greek All-Star Game for sponsorship reasons, is the All-Star Game of the HEBA (Greek: ΕΣΑΚΕ) Greek professional basketball association for men. It was founded and organized by Gus Sarianides. The men's all-star game has most often been played in a format featuring the Greek All-Stars, versus the Rest of the World All-Stars.
