Pride Canterbury
Pride Canterbury is the LGBTQ+ pride event and parade held each June in Canterbury, Kent in the United Kingdom, since 2016, and next returning on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June 2024. Canterbury's Pride Exhibition The ''Canterbury's Pride'' Exhibition, held at the Beaney House of Art and Knowledge, ran from Saturday 8 August 2020 to Wednesday 9 September 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic its fifth annual event planned for 13 June 2020 was rescheduled to 11 September 2021, so this exhibition showcased the history of Pride Canterbury through exhibits, photographs and film, in addition to information about the Stonewall riots, the origin of Pride parades, and the history of drag. History 2016–2021 First launched on 11 June 2016, Pride Canterbury saw over 2,000 people attend. This increased when the second event took place in June 2017. Canterbury, Kent
Canterbury (, ) is a cathedral city and UNESCO World Heritage Site, situated in the heart of the City of Canterbury local government district of Kent, England. It lies on the River Stour. S Club
S Club 7 were a British pop group from London, created by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller and consisting of members Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O'Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens and Tina Barrett. The group was formed in 1998 and quickly rose to fame by starring in their own BBC television series, ''Miami 7''. In their five years together, S Club 7 had four UK number-one singles, one UK number-one album, and a string of hits throughout Europe as well as a Top 10 hit on the US Hot 100, with their 2000 single " Never Had a Dream Come True". Layton Williams (born 13 September 1994) is an English actor, singer, and dancer, best known for playing the role of Stephen Carmichael in the television series '' Bad Education''. Leo Loren, better known by the stage name Baga Chipz, is an English drag queen known for competing on the first series of ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK'' (2019) and later the first season of '' RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs the World'' (2022). Danny Beard is the stage name of Daniel Curtis (born 27 May 1992), a British drag performer and singer, who appeared on ''Britain's Got Talent'' and '' Karaoke Club: Drag Edition'' and won the fourth series of ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK''. Liberty X
Liberty X (originally called Liberty) are a British-Irish group originally consisting of Michelle Heaton, Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Jessica Taylor and Kelli Young. The group was formed by the five finalists of the 2001 ITV talent show ''Popstars'' who failed to make it into the winning group Hear'Say. In 2013 Liberty X's full members returned for the ITV2 documentary series ''The Big Reunion'' and toured until 2014. Since 2017, Heaton, Taylor and Young have performed as a girls trio.
