Priddy is an unincorporated community in Mills County in northwestern Central Texas, United States. The community was established in the late 19th century, and was named after Thomas Jefferson Priddy. The Priddy Independent School District serves area students. Climate The climate in this area is characterized by relatively high temperatures and evenly distributed precipitation throughout the year. Mills County, Texas
Mills County is a county located in Central Texas. It was created on March 15, 1887, from parts of four existing counties—Brown, Comanche, Hamilton, and Lampasas. It is the most centrally located county in Texas and encompasses the exact geographical center of the state. The 2020 census reported a population of 4,456. The county seat is Goldthwaite.
