Sergio Fernández Prendes (born 15 July 1986) is a Spanish former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Midfielder#Winger, left winger. Club career Born in Gijón, Asturias, Sergio began his senior career with hometown's Sporting de Gijón, but spent the vast majority of his six-year spell with Sporting de Gijón B, their reserves, playing three of his four seasons in the Tercera División. In September 2009, following his release, he signed with neighbouring CD Cudillero in the same league. In the 2010–11 Tercera División, 2010–11 campaign, Prendes continued competing in his native region and division four, scoring three goals in 28 games to help Marino de Luanco to promote to Segunda División B. In July 2012 he joined CD Alcoyano, but moved to AD Alcorcón shortly after due to a release clause in his contract with his previous club. Mercedes Prendes (14 April 1903 - 2 July 1981) was a Spanish Actor, actress, originally from Asturias. During a long career, notably between 1927 and 1940, she took a number of Film, cinema roles, and towards the end of her career she appeared regularly in television dramas. Ignacio Prendes
José Ignacio Prendes Prendes (born 22 February 1965 in Gijón) is a Spanish politician and member of Congress of the Deputies with the Citizens-Party of the Citizenry party (C's). Since 21 May 2019, he has been the Fourth Vice President of the Congress of Deputies. He studied law at Oviedo University. In 1998, he obtained a master's degree in law and taxation in Madrid, after which he started his own practice in Gijón, focussing on real estate law. For a time he was a member of the Citizens-Party of the Citizenry political party. Later, he joined Plataforma Pro which was created to offer an alternative to the established parties. Out of Plataforma Pro emerged the new UPyD party, of which he has been a member since its foundation. Robin Prendes (born December 13, 1988) is an American rowing (sport), rower. He competed in the Rowing at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's lightweight coxless four, Men's lightweight coxless four event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. The team finished in 8th. At the 2014 World Rowing Championships, 2014 World Championships, the US men's lightweight four boat that Prendes rowed in finished in 10th. Eloy José Olaya Prendes (born 10 July 1964, in Gijón, Asturias), known simply as Eloy, is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a forward. Club career During his career, Eloy played for Sporting de Gijón (being part of a strong 80's team that achieved two fourth places in La Liga, in 1985 and 1987, with the player scoring 11 goals in 43 games in the latter season), Valencia CF (with roughly the same individual records, helping the ''Che'' to a runner-up spot in the 1989–90 campaign) and CD Badajoz (retiring after an unassuming Segunda División spell).
