Premiere Travel
Premiere Travel was a bus company in Nottinghamshire. History Premiere Travel commenced trading in 2003 with a pair of ex Nottingham City Transport Leyland Nationals working school contracts. The company expanded in to the coach hire, day excursion and holiday business, as well as picking up council tenders to operate stage carriage services. It then moved into wholly commercial stage carriage services, starting with running its buses in service to and from the Bingham schools to avoid dead mileages on school contracts. These were built up to Bingham, Hucknall, Long Eaton amongst other places, competing in the main with the established operator, Trentbarton. Veolia Transport sold the bus and private hire coach operations of Dunn-Line, its Nottingham based subsidiary, to Premiere Travel from January 2011, along with between thirty and forty vehicles. Wright Meridian
The Wright Meridian was a low floor single-decker bus body built on the MAN NL273F chassis by Wrightbus. The body was essentially the same as the Eclipse. The first production vehicle was launched as a demonstrator in October 2007. It was later purchased by Whitelaw's Coaches of Stonehouse who ordered a further five. Two Meridians entered service with Newbury Buses in May 2008. Four entered service with South Lancs Travel in April 2009, around the same time that Premiere Travel of Nottingham acquired two. Dunn-Line
Dunn-Line was a bus operator based in Nottingham, England, with services throughout Nottinghamshire operated from depots in Nottingham and Tuxford. The company also had a presence in the Lincoln area, largely through County Council contracted operations. The company was also a large operator of National Express services and its coaches could be seen throughout the UK on scheduled express routes. In March 2006, Dunn-Line was sold to Veolia Transport. The Dunn family went on to run various aspects of Rotala and Yourbus. Veolia sold its Nottingham bus and private hire coach operations to Premiere Travel in January 2011, along with between 30 and 40 vehicles. The following month, its National Express coach work from the city passed to Yourbus. Kinchbus
Kinchbus is a bus operator in Loughborough, England. Since 1998 it has been a subsidiary of the Wellglade Group. History Kinchbus was founded in 1987 by former Leicester City Football Club director Gilbert Kinch trading as GK Kinch and based in Barrow Upon Soar. Before moving into local bus services, Kinch had operated coaches from nearby Mountsorrel since at least 1972. They are based on the integral low-floor MAN NLxx3 Lion's City (A21).
