Prema Pasam
''Prema Pasam'' is a 1956 Indian Tamil-language film, produced by V. L. Narasu and directed by Vedantam Raghavayya. It is a remake of the Hindi film '' Kismet'' (1943). The film stars Gemini Ganesan and Savitri, with music composed by S. Rajeswara Rao. It was simultaneously shot in Telugu as ''Bhale Ramudu'' (1956). Plot Zamindar Narayana Pillai (Jandhyala Gaurinatha Sastry) has two daughters Prema & Tara and both learn dance since childhood. Especially Prema is fascinated to it for which Narayana Pillai constructs a theatre and affiliates dance teachers from all over the country. Nagabhushnam (V. K. Vedantam Raghavayya
Vedantam Raghavayya ( te, వేదాంతం రాఘవయ్య) (8 June 1919 – 1971) was an Indian film director, dance choreographer, Kuchipudi exponent, actor, producer, and musician known for his works in Telugu cinema, Telugu theatre, and Tamil cinema. Raghavayya was an accomplished Kuchipudi dancer, who was awarded "Bharata Kala Prapurna" in dance by the Andhra Pradesh government. Starting his career as a dance choregrapher, Raghavayya choreographed for films such as ''Raithu Bidda'' (1939), and ''Swarga Seema'' (1945). He made his directorial and production debut with ''Stree Sahasamu'' (1951). Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. He is considered as one of the greatest singers of Telugu cinema. In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema. Pillavalu Gajapathy Krishnaveni (3 November 1935 – 16 August 2004), more famously known as Jikki, was an Indian playback singer from Andhra Pradesh. She sang around 10,000 songs in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and Sinhalese languages. Early life Jikki was born in Chennai on 3 November 1935. Her parents Gajapathi Naidu and Rajakanthamma, a Telugu family, had moved from Chandragiri, near Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh to Chennai for their livelihood. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil language, Tamil-language Weekly (news magazine), weekly magazine published from Chennai, India.
