Preluders Albums
The Preluders were a pop girl group from Germany. The original group comprised singers Tertia Botha, Miriam Cani, Anh-Thu Doan, Rebecca Miro, and Anne Ross. Created through the ProSieben talent show ''Popstars – Das Duell'' (2003), in which male and female pop groups competed against each other, Preluders lost out to boy band Overground in a public vote. Despite their defeat, the group achieved commercial success with their first single "Everyday Girl", which became a number-one hit in Germany, while their full-length debut album ''Girls in the House'' (2003) reached the top five in Germany and Switzerland. In 2004, Preluders released the cover album ''Prelude to History'' which underperformed on the charts, leading to their departure from Cheyenne Records and the leaving of Botha, Miro, and Ross. Pop music is a genre of popular music that originated in its modern form during the mid-1950s in the United States and the United Kingdom. Milk & Honey (group)
Milk & Honey is a German all-female musical duo formed in 2006. It comprises former Preluders member Anne Ross ("Milk"; born 1985 in Dersum) and singer Manel Filali ("Honey"; born 1981 in Algiers). The duo is famous for their 2006 debut single "Habibi (Je t'aime)". "Do You Love Me" is a rhythm and blues song recorded by the Contours in 1962. Written and produced by Motown Records owner Berry Gordy Jr., it appeared twice on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart, reaching numbers three in 1962 and eleven in 1988. As with many American R&B songs of the 1960s, "Do You Love Me?" was recorded by several British Invasion groups. "Call Me, Beep Me!", or "The Kim Possible Song", is the theme song for the Disney Channel series ''Kim Possible''. The song was written by Cory Lerios and George Gabriel. In the song, Kim Possible (the main character of the series) tells listeners to "call" or "beep" her if "there's trouble", no "matter if it's day or night", and promises she will not fail them and will rush to help. Thus, it reflects the use of modern-day mobile technologies. The original version of the song, which played over the opening sequence of the 2002 series, was recorded by Christina Milian and is a catchy punchy Motown-flavored R&B number. Katrina and the Waves were a British rock band widely known for the 1985 hit " Walking on Sunshine". They also won the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Love Shine a Light". In popular music, a cover version, cover song, remake, revival, or simply cover, is a new performance or recording by a musician other than the original performer or composer of the song. Originally, it referred to a version of a song released around the same time as the original in order to compete with it. Now, it refers to any subsequent version performed after the original.
