Precious Death
Precious Death was a Southern California heavy metal band from the 1990s. The group was known for intense live shows that won over the local scene in L.A. before broadening their audience the rest of the country. They were a regular favorite at KNAC nights, on the Hollywood strip, and at summer music festivals. The group wrote songs with a Christian message. Heavy Metal Music
Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Grunge (sometimes referred to as the Seattle sound) is an alternative rock Music genre, genre and subculture that emerged during the in the American Pacific Northwest state of Washington (state), Washington, particularly in Seattle and nearby towns. LA Music Awards
The LA Music Awards is a fee-based awards program originally held in the city of Los Angeles, California to celebrate new artists around the world. In 2015 the Awards held their 25th anniversary with a program in located at the Avalon Theater in Los Angeles. The international online competition allows fans to vote their favorite musical artist to the top of his/ her category. The program, which also includes the F.A.M.E. Awards (film, art, music, and entertainment) has since been relocated to the city of Las Vegas, Nevada. The show's producer, Al Bowman, is also the shows's founder. the competition proceeded thus: artists in the categories of Pop, Rock, and Country entered their application online by creating an artist page and paid an application fee. Once Dead is a Christian metal band that originated in Los Angeles, California. The band has played at Festivals such as Up From The Ashes, Elements of Rock Festival and Nordic Fest. History The band started as a reunion for Vengeance Rising a band that original members, Larry Farkas, Doug Thieme, Roger Dale Martin and Glen Mancaruso had all performed in. All the members quit Vengeance at the same time and formed the band Die Happy. The members decided they wanted to reunite the band minus original vocalist Roger Martinez, who threatened to sue over the reunion. Soon after those two shows as Vengeance, the band changed their name to Once Dead after one of Vengeance's album. In 2005, the band released a DVD titled ''Return with a Vengeance''.
