Meena Kumari
Meena Kumari (born Mahjabeen Bano; 1 August 1933 – 31 March 1972) was an Indian actress and poet, who worked in Hindi films. Popularly known as ''The Tragedy Queen'', she was active between 1939 and 1972. Kumari is widely considered one of the greatest actress of Indian cinema. In a career spanning 33 years, she starred in over 90 films until her premature death in 1972. Meena Kumari won four Filmfare Awards in the Best Actress category. She was the recipient of the inaugural Filmfare Best Actress Award for ''Baiju Bawra'' in 1954 and had a consecutive win in the second Filmfare Awards (1955) for '' Parineeta''. Kumari made history at the 10th Filmfare Awards (1963), by receiving all three of the Best Actress nominations, and won for her performance in '' Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam''. Motilal (actor)
Motilal Rajvansh (4 December 1910 – 17 June 1965) was an Indian actor and the winner of Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award for ''Devdas (1955 film), Devdas'' (1955) and ''Parakh (1960 film), Parakh'' (1960). He is credited with being among Hindi cinema's first natural actors. He also directed the film ''Chhoti Chhoti Baten'' (1965), but died before its release. At the 13th National Film Awards, it won the award for National Film Award for Third Best Feature Film, Certificate of Merit for the Third Best Feature Film and he posthumously won the National Film Award for Best Story, Certificate of Merit for the Best Story Writer. Swaran Lata ( ur, ), ( hi, स्वर्न लता), 20 December 1924 – 8 February 2008) was a Pakistani film actress. She started her career in the film industry in British India and later moved to Pakistan. She was known as ''The Tragedy Queen'' after she proved her mettle in her emotional, tragic roles, her presence on the film screen and her moving dialogue delivery. She worked both in Bollywood and in Pakistani cinema. Early life Swaran Lata was born into a Siyal Khatri Sikh family in Rawalpindi, British India, now in Pakistan on 20 December 1924. She did her Senior Cambridge diploma from Delhi and then joined the Academy of Music and Arts, Lucknow. In the early 1940s, her family moved to Bombay. Bhudo Advani (17 August 1905 – 25 July 1985) was an Indian character actor and comedian. He started his acting career in theatre with the notion of spreading awareness on social issues. He came to Bombay on the advice of an Ajanta Cinetone representative and was offered a role in the film ''Afzal'', also called ''Hoor-E-Haram'' in 1933, directed by Mohan Bhavnani.BA, p. 217 He later joined Sagar Movietone, becoming an important fixture in most films produced by them.
