Prasanna Venkatesan, often credited mononymously as Prasanna, is an Indian actor who works predominantly in the Tamil cinema, Tamil film industry and alongside appeared in a few Telugu language, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films. He made his first success in ''Five Star (film), Five Star'' in 2002, which was produced by Mani Ratnam. Prasanna Kumar Patasani (born 27 April 1946) is an Indian lawyer, philosopher, poet, and former member of Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament. He represented the Bhubaneswar constituency of Odisha from 1998 to 2019. He is the senior vice president and founder member of the Biju Janata Dal. Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal Temple is a Hindu temple located in the town of Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu, India. The presiding deity is Vishnu. Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal Temple, Saidapet
Sri Prasanna Venkata Narasimha Perumal is a Hindu temple in Saidapet, Chennai, in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is dedicated to Venkateswara, an incarnation of the Hindu deity Vishnu. It was constructed during the 15th century, but, according to historical records and inscriptions found within the temple, may consist of elements dating back more than 1000 years. The temple was constructed during the era when the South India was under the rule of the Vijayanagara Empire. Prasanna Venkatachalapathy Temple
Gunaseelam Vishnu Temple (Abhimana Sthalam) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu located from Trichy, in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located on the banks of river Kaveri. A visit temple is believed to be a curative to the mentally challenged people, who are taken to the temple and kept in the temple premises for 48 days. At the end of the 48 days it is believed that their illness is cured by the grace of the presiding deity, Prasanna Venkatachalapathi. The temple has set up a mental health rehabilitation centre that has the official stamp of the Tamil Nadu Government license, the first of its kind in Tamil Nadu. The temple has six daily rituals at various times from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and three yearly festivals on its calendar. Udaya Prasanna Vithanage ( si, ප්රසන්න විතානගේ) (born 14 March 1962) is a Sri Lankan filmmaker. He is considered one of the pioneers of the third generation of the Sri Lankan cinema. Prasanna Kumar Roy (1849 – 1932; better known as Dr. P. K. Roy) was an educationist and the first Indian principal of Presidency College, Kolkata. Early life The son of Shyam Sundar Ray, he belonged to a family originated from Subhaddya in Keraniganj, Dhaka (now in Bangladesh). He was a student of Pogose School in Dhaka. He was attracted towards the Brahmo Samaj early in life. His family were observant Hindus of high caste, whereas the Brahmo Samaj was a radical reformist sect closely aligned with Christian missionaries; many of the leaders of the Brahmo sect were converts to Christianity. Roy's attraction for the Brahmo Samaj (and Christianity) alienated his from his family and he was turned out of his home.
