Prayer In Hinduism
Prayer ( sa, प्रार्थना, prārthanā) is considered to be an integral part of the Hindu religion; it is practiced during Hindu worship ('' puja'') and is an expression of devotion ('' bhakti''). The chanting of ''mantras'' is the most popular form of worship in Hinduism. Yoga and meditation are also considered as a form of devotional service. In Hinduism, there are three path or ways for the worship of God: Karma yoga, Jnana yoga, and Bhakti yoga. In Karma, it is all about our karma, actions, intentions, intuitions, motives and reactions. In Dnyan Yoga, Abhyas, Shastra charcha, Dnyan Upasana is more important. Prarthana Samaj
Prarthana Samaj or "Prayer Society" in Sanskrit, was a movement for religious and social reform in Bombay, India, based on earlier reform movements. Prarthana Samaj was founded by Atmaram Pandurang in 31 March 1867 when Keshub Chandra Sen visited Maharashtra, with an aim to make people believe in one God and worship only one God. It became popular after Mahadev Govind Ranade joined. The main reformers were the intellectuals who advocated reforms of the social system of the Hindus. It was spread to southern India by noted Telugu reformer and writer, Kandukuri Veeresalingam. The movement was started as a movement for religious and social reform.. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ( ; , , ) is an Indian right-wing, Hindu nationalist, paramilitary volunteer organisation. The RSS is the progenitor and leader of a large body of organisations called the Sangh Parivar (Hindi for "Sangh family"), which have presence in all facets of the Indian society.
