Peter Cannon, Thunderbolt is a fictional superhero character originally published by Charlton Comics. Publication history Charlton Comics The character debuted in ''Peter Cannon ... Thunderbolt'' #1 (Jan. 1966), part of Charlton editor Dick Giordano's "Action Heroes" superhero line. The series then took over the numbering of the defunct title ''Son of Vulcan'', and ran from issue #51–60 (March/April 1966 – November 1967), after which Morisi, a New York City Police Department officer and time-pressed with police work, left the title, which was canceled along with the rest of Charlton's "Action Heroes" comics line. There were several backup series in ''Thunderbolt''. The Prankster (Oswald Hubert Loomis) is a supervillain in the DC Comics universe and primarily a foe of Superman. The Prankster's particular gimmick is the use of various practical jokes and gags in committing his crimes. Publication history The Prankster first appeared in ''Action Comics'' #51 (August 1942) and was created by Jerry Siegel and John Sikela. Fictional character biography Golden Age version The original Prankster is Oswald Loomis, a criminal and conman who uses elaborate practical jokes and publicity campaigns to commit crimes. In his debut in ''Action Comics'' #51, the Prankster and his assistants break into a series of banks and force the employees to ''accept'' money. They even throw money to people in the streets. After he becomes famous for this joke, the Prankster enters into yet another bank - and this time takes all the money, also taking Lois Lane hostage. Scott Cawthon
Scott Braden Cawthon (born June 4, 1978) is an American former video game developer and writer. He came to prominence as the creator of the ''Five Nights at Freddy's'' media franchise, which began with the development of the eponymous survival horror game in 2014. Released independently, the game achieved popularity and obtained a cult following. Cawthon developed nine games in the main series from 2014 until his retirement in 2021, in addition to three spin-offs. He also wrote several stories based on ''Five Nights at Freddy's'', including the novel '' The Silver Eyes'' (2015). Early life and work Cawthon was born in Houston, Texas on June 4, 1978. He is a devout Christian. He lives in Salado, Texas, with his wife and six children. Cawthon's career in game design and animation began in the 1990s.
