''Power Rangers'' is a comic book franchise published by Boom! Studios, based on the television series of the same name. Initially licensed through Saban Brands in 2015, the rights moved to Hasbro in 2018. Publication history In June 2015, Boom! Studios and Saban Brands announced a new comic book series based on ''Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.'' The initial creative staff featured Kyle Higgins as the writer, Steve Orlando and Mairghread Scott as co-writers, with Hendry Prasetya and Daniel Bayliss as the artists. Boom! Studios (styled BOOM! Studios) is an American comic book and graphic novel publisher, headquartered in Los Angeles, California, United States. History Origins In the early 2000s, Ross Richie and Andrew Cosby had been working in Hollywood, helping to option comic book projects as producers and working to develop them into films with the studios, but were getting increasingly frustrated with the process. Richie planned to start Boom! to get away from Hollywood. Before Boom!, Richie and Cosby worked briefly with Dave Elliott and Garry Leach in 2004 to revive 1980s comic book publishing house Atomeka Press. ''Justice League/Mighty Morphin Power Rangers'' was a 2017 comic book intercompany crossover series featuring DC Comics' Justice League and Saban's Power Rangers, written by Tom Taylor with art by Stephen Byrne, published by DC Comics and Boom Studios. Synopsis ''Lord Zedd attacks the Command Center with an army of Putties and Zack arrives to defend it and Zordon. During his attempt to teleport them out, the teleportation relay is destroyed by a fake Alpha 5 with a bomb implanted in him. Zordon
Zordon is a fictional character from the ''Power Rangers'' franchise who serves as the Rangers' mentor. Zordon first appeared on the first season of ''Mighty Morphin Power Rangers'' and appeared in subsequent seasons until the conclusion of ''Power Rangers in Space'', where he was the titular major supporting character of his saga. Character biography Ten thousand years ago, Zordon clashes with his nemesis, Rita Repulsa, on Earth. During their final battle, Rita traps Zordon in a time warp while Zordon seals Rita and her minions away in a "Dumpster" on the Moon. Bulk And Skull
Farkas "Bulk" Bulkmeier and Eugene "Skull" Skullovitch are fictional characters in the Power Rangers universe. They appeared as permanent cast members from ''Mighty Morphin Power Rangers'' until ''Power Rangers in Space''.
