"Potion" is a song by Scottish DJ and record producer Calvin Harris, English-Albanian singer Dua Lipa and American rapper Young Thug. The song was released on 27 May 2022 as the lead single from the former's sixth studio album '' Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2'' (2022). The song was written by the artists alongside Jessie Reyez and Maneesh, the latter receiving a co-production credit. The song marks the second collaboration between Harris and Lipa following their 2018 single " One Kiss", with Thug previously having featured on Harris' 2017 single "Heatstroke". Background After announcing his sixth studio album ''Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2'' in April 2022, Calvin Harris announced on 23 May that he would be releasing a new single the following Friday along with posting a teaser of the song. Rhodes Piano
The Rhodes piano (also known as the Fender Rhodes piano) is an electric piano invented by Harold Rhodes, which became popular in the 1970s. Like a conventional piano, the Rhodes generates sound with keys and hammers, but instead of strings, the hammers strike thin metal tines, which vibrate next to an electromagnetic pickup. The signal is then sent through a cable to an external keyboard amplifier and speaker.
