Janusz Morgenstern
Janusz "Kuba" Morgenstern (16 November 1922 – 6 September 2011) was a Polish film director and producer. Janusz Morgenstern was born in 1922 to a Jewish family in the town of Mikulińce, Poland (now Mykulyntsi, Ukraine), to Dawid Morgenstern and Estera (née Druks). He debuted as a director with the film ''Goodbye, See You Tomorrow'' (1960). His other films include ''Jowita'' (1967), ''We Have to Kill this Love'' (1972), ''W-Hour'' (1979), ''Lesser of Two Evils'' (2009). TV series directed by Morgenstern included: ''Stake Larger than Life'' (1967–1968), ''Columbuses'' (1970) and ''Polish Roads'' (1976). He died in Warsaw, Poland. Witold Pyrkosz
Witold Pyrkosz (24 December 1926 – 22 April 2017) was a Polish actor. He was best known as Lucjan Mostowiak in Polish TV series "M jak miłość", as Pyzdra in " Janosik", as Wichura in "Czterej pancerni i pies", as Balcerek in "Alternatywy 4" and he was also a voice actor of Tow Mater in Polish dubbing of Pixar's Cars series. ↵His official birth certificate says that he was born on 1 January 1927 in Lwów; however, he stated that this was done purposely: the date was changed to delay his compulsory conscription for a year, while his mother registered his birthplace as Lwów because it "sounded more regal". In 1974, Pyrkosz was decorated with the Gold Cross of Merit and in 1984, with the Knight's Cross of Polonia Restituta. In 2009, he received the Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis. Barbara Brylska (born 5 June 1941) is a Polish actress who gained critical acclaim in 1960s and was featured in numerous films throughout the countries of the Warsaw Pact including the Soviet Union. She is noted especially for her role as ''Nadya'' in the 1976 Soviet comedy film ''Irony of Fate''. Biography Barbara Brylska was born on June 5, 1941, in Skotniki, near Łódź, Poland.
