The parish is relatively far from the ocean, and it lies at an elevation of forty-five metres. Its predominant economic activity is agriculture. It contains the localities Espigão, Grota do Medo, Lapinha, Piquinho and Posto Santo. Angra do Heroísmo (), or simply Angra, is a city and municipality on Terceira Island, Portugal, and one of the three capital cities of the Azores. Santa Luzia (Portuguese for Saint Lucy) is a parish in the municipality of Angra do Heroísmo on the island of Terceira, in the Azores. The population in 2011 was 2,755, in an area of 1.26 km². It is the smallest parish in Angra do Heroísmo. Part of its territory integrates the historical center of the city of Angra do Heroísmo classified as UNESCO World Heritage.
