Posthuman Records was an American record label specializing in industrial rock and electronic music, founded by Marilyn Manson in 2000. It was a vanity label operating under the parent company Priority Records. The label was Marilyn Manson's first vanity label. Posthuman Records is now defunct. 2000 Years Of Human Error
''2000 Years of Human Error'' is the fourth studio album by the American rock band Godhead. It was released on January 23, 2001 by Posthuman Records, making this one of Posthuman's only releases. The album contains select songs that have been re-recorded by the band, which previously appeared on 1998's '' Power Tool Stigmata''. "Sinking" has since been re-recorded for the subsequent release ''Unplugged''. The version of "Penetrate" featured on this album was also featured on the soundtrack to the 2002 movie ''Queen of the Damned''. ''2000 Years of Human Error'' spawned two singles, "The Reckoning" and the Beatles cover "Eleanor Rigby". It also had a music video largely consisting of vocalist Jason C. Miller singing and walking down a street in slow motion as other band members are seen sitting or standing along the sidewalk in a depressed manner. ''Born Villain'' is the eighth studio album by American rock band Marilyn Manson. It was released on April 25, 2012 by Cooking Vinyl and Marilyn Manson's independent record label Hell, etc. It was the band's first release since the departure of Ginger Fish, who had been their drummer since 1995, and was their only album to feature Fred Sablan. The record was co-produced by the band's eponymous vocalist alongside former Nine Inch Nails member Chris Vrenna, who left shortly after its completion to focus on other production work. Manson was more involved in the album's composition than he was on preceding releases. It is primarily a heavy metal record, and, at the time of its release, contained some of the heaviest material the band had ever recorded. A cover version of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain" featuring Johnny Depp was included as a bonus track on all editions of the record. "Suicide Is Painless" (or "Song from M*A*S*H") is a song written by Johnny Mandel (music) and Michael Altman (lyrics) for the 1970 film ''M*A*S*H''. In addition to being performed by characters in the film, it plays during the title sequence as sung by The Ron Hicklin Singers. An instrumental version is likewise the theme music for the TV series based on the film, playing over the opening and closing credits.
