Poslishte (archaeological Site)
''Part of a series of articles upon Archaeology of Kosovo'' The archaeological site at Poslishte is a cultural heritage monument located near Prizren, Kosovo. This monument was a Roman site of the Villa Rustica (Statio Mansio type) and is of the "Archaeological" category. History The archaeological site in Poslishte was discovered during the construction of the highway segment between Prizren and Vërmica in 2010, approximately one kilometre south of the multilayer archaeological site at Vlashnja, on the left side of this road segment, respectively, 150 m from the road that leads toward the Poslište village. Rescue excavations were carried out at this location in an earlier known unidentified site of Roman era. District Of Prizren
The Prizren District (Albanian: ''Rajoni i Prizrenit''; Turkish: ''Prizren ili'') is one of the seven districts of Kosovo. Its seat is in the city of Prizren. According to the 2011 Census, it has a population of 331,670 and an area of 2,024 square km (around 20% of the total area of Kosovo). Albanians form the majority of the district (85%). However, the district of Prizren is home to the biggest Bosniak and Turkish population in Kosovo, who make around 10% of the district's total population. Municipalities The district of Prizren has a total of 5 municipalities and 195 other smaller settlements. Municipalities Of Kosovo
A municipality ( sq, komuna, sr, / ) is the basic administrative division in Kosovo and constitutes the only level of power in local governance. There are 38 municipalities in Kosovo; 27 of which have an Albanian ethnic majority, 10 Serb and 1 Turkish. After the 2013 Brussels Agreement, signed by the governments of Kosovo and Serbia, an agreement was made to create a Community of Serb Municipalities, which would operate within Kosovo's legal framework. Since 2013, the agreement has not been fulfilled by Kosovo's authorities, calling upon its constitution and "territorial integrity". Serbia does not recognize Kosovo as a sovereign state, but as an autonomous province according to its constitution.
