''Porzûs'' (also spelled ''Porzus'') is a 1997 Italian historical war-drama film written and directed by Renzo Martinelli. For his performance in this film Lorenzo Crespi won the Globo d'oro for best breakthrough actor, while Gastone Moschin was nominated for Silver Ribbon for best supporting actor. Plot One of the survivors of the Porzûs massacre, Storno, travels to Slovenia to visit Geko, who did not see since the end of the war. The two recall all the dramatic events that have seen them protagonists between late 1944 and February 1945. Porzûs Massacre
The Porzûs massacre ( it, eccidio di Porzûs, fur, ecidi di Purçûs, sl, pokol v Porčinju) was an intra-partisan massacre of the Italian resistance during late World War II, on 7 February 1945. It saw the killings of 17 partisans belonging to the Brigate Osoppo, a strongly Catholic formation, by communist partisans of the Gruppi di Azione Patriottica. Four members of Brigate Osoppo were killed when a group of them was ambushed, while the survivors were taken prisoner and summarily executed in the following days. The event is still the object of study and controversy in Italy. Pietro Ghislandi (born 19 April 1957 in Bergamo) is an Italian actor. History He was introduced to the public as a ventriloquist and was a finalist in the 1986/87 edition of the RaiUno program Fantastico 7 with his dummy Sergio. Lino Capolicchio (21 August 1943 – 3 May 2022) was an Italian actor, screenwriter, and director. He won a special David di Donatello acting award for his role in Vittorio de Sica's 1970 film, '' The Garden of the Finzi-Contini''.
