Port Jervis Station
Port Jervis station is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's Port Jervis Line, located in Port Jervis, New York. It is the western terminus of the Port Jervis Line. Located slightly off US 6 and 209 in downtown Port Jervis, it is the westernmost station in the Metro-North system. It is two blocks from the bridge over the Delaware River to Matamoras, Pennsylvania, which produces some regular commuters. The northwestern tip of New Jersey, also not far away, draws riders as well. Station layout The station consists of a short concrete platform, a shelter, ticket machines, and a posted schedule. Renovations to the station were completed and a ribbon cutting was held on October 4, 2021; a high level platform was built and opened on August 10, 2021. There is ample parking. The vicinity of the station contains a yard just beyond (the tracks continue upriver, but only carry freight beyond here) and various features of the once extensive facilities that existed here ...

Port Jervis Line
The Port Jervis Line is a predominantly single-track commuter rail line running between Suffern and Port Jervis, in the U.S. state of New York. At Suffern, the line continues south into New Jersey as NJ Transit's Main Line. The line is operated by NJ Transit Rail Operations under a working agreement with Metro-North Railroad (MNRR). Norfolk Southern Railway (NS) shares the use of the track for local freight operations between Suffern and Port Jervis. The New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway operates over the line between Hudson Junction (east of Campbell Hall) and Port Jervis, and onward to Binghamton over the former Erie Railroad Delaware Division (now the Central New York Railroad). The tracks have been owned by NS since the 1999 split of Conrail, but were built by the Erie and incorporated into Conrail on its formation on April 1, 1976. Port Jervis Station (Erie Railroad)
The Port Jervis station is a disused train station at the corner of Jersey Avenue and Fowler Street in Port Jervis, New York. It was built in 1892 as a passenger station for the Erie Railroad by Grattan & Jennings in the Queen Anne style. For years it was the busiest passenger station on the railroad's Delaware Branch because Port Jervis is along the Delaware River near the tripoint of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The long-distance passenger trains ''Erie Limited'' and the '' Lake Cities'' between Chicago and Hoboken served this station. Otisville (Metro-North Station)
Otisville is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's Port Jervis Line, serving the village of Otisville along with the town of Mount Hope in Orange County, New York. It is located a short distance off NY 211 near the eastern village line. The station has long been among the least developed on the Metro-North system, with a shelter on the bare concrete low-level platform but no roof, and a 104-space parking lot across the street. A short distance west of the station, trains enter the long Otisville Tunnel under the Shawangunk Ridge, the longest in the Metro-North system and one of only two outside of the city. The E8 is a , A1A-A1A passenger-train locomotive built by General Motors' Electro-Motive Division (EMD) of La Grange, Illinois. A total of 450 cab versions, or E8As, were built from August 1949 to January 1954, 447 for the U.S. and 3 for Canada. 46 E8Bs were built from December 1949 to January 1954, all for the U.S. The 2,250 hp came from two 12 cylinder model 567B engines, each driving a generator to power the two traction motors on one truck.
