Porsha ( bn, পোরশা) is an Upazila of Naogaon District in the Division of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Geography Porsha is located at . It has 18047 households, and total area 252.83 km2. Porsha Upazila is bounded by Sapahar Upazila on the north, Patnitala and Mohadevpur Upazilas on the east, Gomostapur and Niamatpur Upazilas on the south, Habibpur and Bamangola CD Blocks in Malda district, West Bengal, India, on the west. Demographics According to 2011 Bangladesh census, Porsha had a population of 132,095. Males constituted 50.19% of the population and females 49.81%. She is known for her role Zena on '' The Haves and the Have Nots'' and has also appeared in feature films including ''Free in Deed'', ''Breathe'', ''Closet Space'', and ''The Last Punch''. Porsha Olayiwola is a Black American poet based in Boston, Massachusetts. Early life Of Nigerian descent (her father being a Yoruba man from Lagos), Olayiwola was born in Chicago. When Olayiwola was a child, her father was abruptly deported to Nigeria, forcing her mother to struggle alone to raise and support Olayiwola and her siblings. Olayiwola occasionally writes about the pain of growing up without her father physically present. Porsha Phillips (born January 13, 1988) is an American professional women's basketball player, formerly with the San Antonio Silver Stars of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Porsha Phillips finished her basketball career in Israel, playing for Ramat Hasharon Club. Porsha Phillips played for Redan High School in her hometown of Stone Mountain, Georgia. While at Redan, Phillips averaged 18.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.8 blocked shots as a senior to earn elite status as a Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), USA Today, Parade and McDonald's All-American. Porsha Stubbs-Smith is a Turks and Caicos Islander politician, who served as the Minister of Tourism, Environment, Heritage and Culture. Career Stubbs-Smith was elected to the Turks and Caicos Islands House of Assembly at the 2012 general election in The Bight constituency for the Progressive National Party.
