Los Caminantes are a Mexican Grupera band hailing from San Francisco del Rincón, Guanajuato led by singer-songwriter Agustín Ramírez. Originally called Los Caminantes Aztecas, the group was formed in San Bernardino County, California by brothers: Agustín, Brígido, Horacio and Bernardo Ramírez in the mid-1970s. In 1982, Martín Ramírez, the youngest brother of the band, joined the group replacing Bernardo on keyboards. They later acquired Humberto Navarro as their drummer. CADA (call sign: 2ONE) is a music radio station based in outer Sydney, Australia, but licensed to Katoomba. It is operated by the Australian Radio Network. History CADA, formerly known as The Edge, is an Australian radio station licensed to Katoomba, New South Wales, and serving the Blue Mountains area of western Sydney. The radio station was launched on 7 September 1935, as 2KA. In December 1937, 2KA moved from 1160 kHz to 780 kHz. A repeater station on 1480 kHz was added in 1978. From November 1978, the station transmitted on 783 kHz on the AM band, with a translator station on 1476 kHz at Emu Plains. Before the station launched its Emu Plains based translator in the late 1970s, it was exclusively a Blue Mountains based licence. Agustín Ramírez (singer)
Agustín Ramírez Sánchez (August 28, 1952 – October 26, 2022) was a Mexican singer-songwriter, co-founder and frontman of the Mexican musical group Los Caminantes. Ramírez composed and was responsible for many of Los Caminantes' hits, including, "Palomita Mensajera," "Para Que Quieres Volver," "Regresare," "He Sabido," "Volar, Volar," "Ven y Abrazame," "Una Noche," "Todo Me Gusta De Ti," "Mi Niña," "Lagrimas Al Recordar," etc. Ramírez also composed songs for groups such as El Tiempo, Los Sagitarios, El Jefe y Su Grupo, and in 1990, composed a ballad for the tropical group Los João called, "Una Noche Mas Sin Ti." In 1993, Agustín Ramírez received an honorary plaque award which was placed outside a wall of his hometown of San Pancho by the mayor.
