Poppy.Computer Tour
The Poppy.Computer Tour was the debut concert tour by American singer Poppy. The tour supports the singer's debut studio album, ''Poppy.Computer'' (2017). Starting in the fall of 2017, the tour played 38 cities, including 40 concerts in North America, one London concert in December, and three shows in Japan in early 2018. Background Poppy announced plans of touring via Twitter, alongside her album announcement, on May 6, 2017. In late July, the concert schedule was released, showing 15 shows in the United States and Canada. This was followed with a 21-minute video posted on YouTube, where the singer stands in front of different backgrounds with two background artists. High demand added additional shows in Los Angeles and Chicago. The tour played in small venues and clubs, with a capacity of 400 or less. Moriah Rose Pereira (born January 1, 1995), known professionally as Poppy and formerly as That Poppy, is an American singer, songwriter, YouTuber, and performance artist. In 2014, she gained viral video, viral fame by starring in Surrealism, surreal performance art videos on YouTube as an uncanny valley-like Android (robot), android who commented on and satirised internet culture and modern society. She signed a recording contract with Island Records in 2015 and released her debut Pop music, pop EP ''Bubblebath (EP), Bubblebath'' in 2016. The Crocodile (formerly the Crocodile Cafe, and sometimes called The Croc) is a music club at 2505 1st Avenue at Wall Street in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, United States. Opened by Stephanie Dorgan as the "Crocodile Cafe" on April 30, 1991, it quickly became a fixture of the city's music scene. Rio Theatre
The Rio Theatre is an independent, multidisciplinary art house in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Built in 1938, the Rio served East Vancouver primarily as a movie theatre until 2008, when new owner, Corinne Lea, began to add live music and multimedia and multidisciplinary art events.
