Pop Corn (2003 Film)
''Pop Carn'' is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Nassar. The film stars Mohanlal and Simran, and introduces newcomers Kunal Shah (Shakthi) and Jyothi Naval. The title is short for the phrase "Pop Carnival", with a story-line focusing on why marriages between celebrities can suffer due to conflicts between egos. Plot Popular music director Vikramaditya returns from a long sabbatical to work with a young music troupe and falls in love with a fusion dancer Jamuna. The two marry but fall apart due to their clashing artistic egos. Vikramaditya's daughter Megha attempts to reunite her father and mother, but fails. The rest of the movie shows how Vikramadithya and Jamuna reuniting which forms the rest of the story. Nassar (actor)
M. Nassar (born 5 March 1958) is an Indian actor, director, producer, dubbing artist, singer and politician who mainly works in the Tamil and Telugu film industries he has also worked in few Malayalam, English and Hindi films. He is the incumbent president of the Nadigar Sangam. Early life and education Nassar was born on 5 March 1958 to Mehaboob Basha and Mumtaz in Tamil Nadu, India. Thyagu (actor)
Thyagu (born 5 February 1958) is an Indian actor and comedian who appears in Tamil films. He is the grandson of violinist Kumbakonam Rajamanickam Pillai. Career Beginning as a protagonist, Thyagu played roles in ''Oru Thalai Ragam'' and '' Palaivana Solai'', before playing antagonistic roles in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer.
