Pop 'til You Drop!
''Pop 'til You Drop!'' is the third studio album by Swedish pop group A-Teens, released in 2002 exclusively for the U.S. market. Recorded between 2001 and 2002 in Stockholm, Sweden, ''Pop 'til You Drop!'' provide a more American-driven sound rather than just Europop. For the first time, the A-Teens participated on the writing of the tracks and the design of the album and image. It was released as an American only release on June 18, 2002, in the hype of the promotion of the first single, a cover of Elvis Presley's " Can't Help Falling in Love", which was part of Lilo & Stitch's soundtrack. The album also consists of five new previously unreleased songs, along with six songs later released on their third full-length studio album ''New Arrival'', with School's Out having an early altered version with a lightly different ending on this album in contrast to the ''New Arrival'' version. A-Teens
A-Teens (stylized as A★TEENS or A*Teens) were a Swedish pop music group from Stockholm, Sweden, formed by Niklas Berg in 1998 originally as an ABBA tribute band called ABBA-Teens and was later renamed A-Teens. The band members were Marie Serneholt, Amit Paul, Dhani Lennevald and Sara Lumholdt. The band's debut album became a success around the world. In 2001, following their second album, '' Teen Spirit'', it was reported that the band had sold 2 million copies. After six years together, the band announced they would take a break in 2004 after the release of their ''Greatest Hits'' album. Each song from that album became a Top 20 hit in at least one country around the world. However, following in the year 2006, Serneholt's Swedish-language website has announced that they had made their break-up more indefinite, and is said to have finally disbanded as they all went to pursue solo recording careers for the next few years. School's Out (song)
"School's Out" is a song first recorded as the title track of Alice Cooper's fifth album. It was released as the album's only single on April 26, 1972. "School's Out" was the Alice Cooper's biggest international hit and it has been regarded as the band's signature song and reached number 7 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, number 3 in the Canadian Hot 100, number 2 in Ireland and reached the top of the UK Singles Chart. Swiss metal band Krokus released a charting cover version in 1986. Inspiration and writing Cooper has said he was inspired to write the song when answering the question, "What's the greatest three minutes of your life?".
