Pontus Segerström
Pontus Segerström (17 February 1981 – 13 October 2014) was a Sweden, Swedish footballer who played as a defender. He died of a brain tumor, 76 days after his last Allsvenskan game for IF Brommapojkarna, which he played as the captain. Career Segerström started his career at IF Brommapojkarna where he had played football from a young age. He later played for Danish Odense Boldklub, Odense BK during a short period of time in 2004 before moving back to Sweden to play for Landskrona BoIS, first in Allsvenskan for the 2005 Allsvenskan, 2005 season and later in Superettan for the 2006 Superettan, 2006 season. After this period Segerström moved to Norway to play for Stabæk Fotball, Stabæk. With the club he won the Tippeligaen title in 2008 Tippeligaen, 2008. IF Brommapojkarna
Idrottsföreningen Brommapojkarna, more commonly known as Brommapojkarna (meaning ''the Bromma boys'') or simply BP, is a Swedish football club located in the borough of Bromma, in the western parts of Stockholm municipality. Brommapojkarna is the largest football club in Europe in terms of the number of active teams of all ages – in 2007 there were 247 teams and 3,000 players. The women's team plays in Damallsvenskan, the first tier and the men's team plays in the Superettan, the second tier. The club is famous for its youth academy, which has produced numerous top-quality Swedish players throughout the years. The club is affiliated to the Stockholms Fotbollförbund. 2014 Allsvenskan
The 2014 Allsvenskan, part of the 2014 Swedish football season, was the 90th season of Allsvenskan since its establishment in 1924. The 2014 fixtures were released on 20 December 2013. The season started on 30 March 2014 and concluded on 1 November 2014. Malmö FF were the defending champions from the 2013 season. Malmö FF won the Swedish championship this season, their 21st Allsvenskan title and 18th Swedish championship overall, in the 27th round on 5 October 2014 when they won 3–2 in the away fixture against AIK at Friends Arena. Malmö FF became the first club to defend a Swedish championship by winning consecutive Allsvenskan titles since Djurgårdens IF in the 2003 season.
