Pomeroy Plunketts
Pomeroy Plunketts is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Pomeroy in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. History The club was founded in 1916, dedicated to the memory of Joseph Plunkett, whose face is featured on the club's crest. After winning the Tyrone Intermediate Football Championship in 2004, Pomeroy went on to win the first official Ulster Intermediate Club Football Championship title with a win over Moneyglass in the final. The Plunketts went on to reach the final of the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship with a win over Wolfe Tones. Pomeroy lost the final by six points to Carbery Rangers. In 2016, after beating Derrylaughan in the Tyrone Intermediate final, a second Ulster Intermediate crown was won after a twelve-point final win over Donaghmoyne. Pomeroy is a small village and civil parish in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It is in the townland of Cavanakeeran, about from Cookstown, from Dungannon and from Omagh. Tyrone Junior Football Championship
The Tyrone Junior Football Club Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the LCC Group Tyrone Junior Football Club Championship) is an annual Gaelic football competition contested by lower-tier Tyrone GAA clubs. The Tyrone County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association has organised it since 1904. Derrylaughan Kevin Barrys is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based along the Washing Bay area east of the parish of Clonoe in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. History Previous clubs existed in 1903 (‘Rising Sons of Goff’), 1917–19 and 1923 (Aughamullan Erin’s Hope/Pearses and Kevin Barrys). Washingbay Shamrocks flourished in period 1929-36 and 1939–48; won junior league in 1929, Dr. Collins Cup in 1932, SFC in 1934 (finalists in 1931), JFC in 1942. Carbery Rangers is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the village of Rosscarbery, County Cork, Ireland. The club is solely concerned with the game of Gaelic football. History Located in Rosscarbery in West Cork, Carbery Rangers was founded on 10 November 1887. Wolfe Tones GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club which comprises an amalgamation of the parishes of Oristown and Kilberry which are situated roughly halfway between the town of Navan and the town of Kells, in County Meath, Ireland.
