Alekos Sakellarios
Alekos Sakellarios ( el, Αλέκος Σακελλάριος, 13 November 1913 in Athens – 28 August 1991 in Athens) was a Greece, Greek writer and a director. He was born in Athens and grew up in Agios Panteleimonas, Athens, Agios Panteleimonas and began to study journalism and acting at a young age. He wrote his first theatrical play in 1935 called ''The King of Halva''. He entered the film industry and had roles in both screenwriting and directing. He directed mainly with Christos Giannakopoulos and together they wrote and produced an estimated 140 works. Thanasis Veggos
Thanasis Veggos (alternatively spelt Thanassis and/or Vengos; Greek: Θανάσης Βέγγος; pronounced: ''Thanássis Véngos''; 29 May 19273 May 2011) was a Greek actor and director born in Neo Faliro, Piraeus. He performed in around 130 films, predominantly comedies in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, starring in more than 50 among them. He is considered one of the best Greek comedy actors of all time. His famous comedic catchphrase was ' ("My good man"). Background Veggos was the only son of a power station employee, who had fought with the Greek Resistance in World War II. Vassilis Veggos played an important part in the defense of the Piraeus power station when the Germans attempted to destroy it before departing in 1944, but precisely because of this was dismissed from his job in the post-war purge of leftists. Marika Krevata (Greek: Μαρίκα Κρεβατά; 12 June 1910 – 14 September 1994) was a Greek actress of theatre and film. Biography Marika Krevata was the daughter of Stamatis Krevatas (musician) and his wife, Sofia. She was born in Athens in 1910. When she was a child, her father and younger sister, Thaleia, both died. She first appeared in theatre at an early age. In the beginning she toured Greece with children's acts including ''Daskalitsa'' (''Δασκαλίτσα''). She later appeared in operettas by Georgios Xydis. After their marriage she worked as a television producer. Betty Moschhona ( el, Μπέτυ Μοσχονά; 7 March 1927 in Patras – 6 December 2006 in Athens) was a Greek actress. She received her first role in 1952 with Mimis Kokkinis' company and participated in inspected with different comical roles (Vlachos, Kritikos, Nevrikia, Gria, Methysmeni). Dimitris Nikolaidis ( el, Δημήτρης Νικολαΐδης; 1922 – 21 January 1993) was a Greek actor. Career He was born in 1922 in Asia Minor and died in January 1993. His journey of life began on a ship that headed from Constantinople (now Istanbul) to Piraeus, between them two youngsters, Eftalia and Nikos. His family moved to Greece to escape the Turkish raids. During his transfer trip, his father got sick. The family settled in Athens as the father's sickness did not retreat (the problem was mainly genetic as from the father's organism that shook an enzyme, it cleaned the blood without knowing that revived the body).
