The Multinational Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactics Facility Polygone, known more briefly as Polygone, is an Electronic Warfare Tactics Range located on the border between Germany and France. It is a tri-national facility operated by France, Germany and the United States. Purpose The range, also referred to as the Multi-national Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactics Facility (MAEWTF), is jointly operated by personnel from the United States, German and French Air Forces. Training areas The particular sites of the range are coordinated by CCC systems provided by Computer Application Services (www.casltd.co.uk) - SPICCCS at RAF Spadeadam & EPICCCS at Polygone. CIMACT is EUROCONTROL's Civil-Military Air Traffic Management Co-ordination Tool. Definition CIMACT is a EUROCONTROL software, that is combining and merging civil and military data sources (mainly surveillance and flight plan data) into a correlated Air Situation Display (also known as Recognised Air Picture (RAP) to enhance situational awareness and civil-military coordination. RCAF Station Grostenquin, also known as 2 (Fighter) Wing or 2 Wing, was a Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) station located five km north of the town of Grostenquin in the Moselle department, Lorraine, northeastern France. Bann is a municipality in the district of Kaiserslautern, in Rhineland-Palatinate, western Germany. Located in the Steinalb valley with the Palatinate Forest bordering it to the east.
