Polnische Schul
The ''Polnische Schul'' (Pronunciation: pɔlnɪʃə ʃuːl pl, Synagoga Polska w Wiedniu, English: "Polish synagogue") was a synagogue in Leopoldsgasse, Vienna. It was built by the noted architect Wilhelm Stiassny in 1892. It was built specifically for the Polish Jewish community in the late 19th century. The ''Polnische Schul'' was destroyed during the ''Reichskristallnacht () or the Night of Broken Glass, also called the November pogrom(s) (german: Novemberpogrome, ), was a pogrom against Jews carried out by the Nazi Party's (SA) paramilitary and (SS) paramilitary forces along with some participation from ...'' in 1938.
