Pollachi Mappillai
''Pollachi Mappillai'' () is a 2010 Indian Tamil language comedy film directed by R. Lakshmanan. The film features Sathyaraj and Susan in lead roles with Goundamani in a pivotal role. The film, produced by Mangai Harirajan, had musical score by Deva and was released after several delays on 16 July 2010 to positive reviews. But it was a flop at the box office. Vinayagar Sundar Vel (born 21 January 1966), known professionally as Sundar C., is an Indian film director, actor and producer. ''The New Indian Express'' is an Indian English-language broadsheet daily newspaper published by the Chennai-based Express Publications. ''Mumbai Xpress'' is a 2005 Indian bilingual black comedy film directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and produced by Kamal Haasan. Subramaniyan Karuppaiya (born 25 May 1939), known by his stage name Goundamani, is an Indian actor and comedian who works in Tamil cinema. He is known for his comic duo partnership in Tamil films with fellow actor Senthil. The pair dominated the Tamil industry as comedians in the 1980s and 90s. He was called Goundamani after acting as a Gounder in one of his early day dramas and the pseudonym stuck with him forever.
