The Polish Women's Cup (Polish: Puchar Polski kobiet) is the national women's football cup competition in Poland and was first held in 1984/85. Up to 2021 KKS Czarni Sosnowiec has won twelve times and is the cup's record champion. They won eight editions in a row from 1994/95 to 2001/02. Kolejowy Klub Sportowy Czarni Sosnowiec, commonly referred to as Czarni Sosnowiec, is a football club from Sosnowiec, Poland. The club was founded in 1924, and its home ground is the Jan Ciszewski's Stadium. It has a women's and a men's section. Women's football section Women's football team, founded 5 September 1974, holds the Polish record for championship titles won, with 13 titles to its name. After some financial problems the club was in the 2007–08 season relegated from the Ekstraliga Kobiet; in 2008–09 they reached the promotion playoffs but lost convincingly. With the expansion of the Ekstraliga in 2010–11 a second-place was enough to ensure direct promotion again. In 2021, they won their first championship in over twenty years. KKPK Medyk Konin
KKPK Medyk Konin is a Polish women's football club from Konin. Medyk Konin was founded in 1985. Since its promotion to the top league, the team has always finished near the top. Their best result was 2nd place in 2002–03, 2003–04, 2005–06 and 2007–08. In 2007–08 the team only drew the penultimate game against KS AZS Wrocław, but in so doing lost a chance at their first title. The same fate happened again in 2010–11 when they lost on the last matchday to Unia Racibórz, whom they would have overtaken for the title with a win. In the 2014 season they secured their first league title. The team won the Polish Cup in 2004–05, 2005–06 and 2007–08. The Polish Cup in football ( pl, Puchar Polski w piłce nożnej ) is an elimination tournament for Polish football clubs, held continuously from 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( pl, Puchar Tysiąca Drużyn ). Participation is open to any club registered with the Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid. Reserve and veteran teams are also eligible, with reserve teams reaching the final on two occasions (and winning it once). The Cup is popular among lower-level teams, as it gives them a chance to play better known sides. Górnik Łęczna is a Polish women's football club from Łęczna, Lublin Voivodeship, founded in 2002. It is a section of the wider Górnik Łęczna sports-club. The women's section of Górnik Łęczna played for years in the second and third tier leagues of Poland. In 2006-07 the team reached the semi-finals of the Polish Cup but lost to Medyk Konin. Pogoń Szczecin (women)
Pogoń Szczecin is a women's football team from Szczecin, Poland, the women's section of Pogoń Szczecin. It competes in the Ekstraliga, the country's top division (as of 2022–23). History The team was founded as TKKF Gryf Szczecin. The team reached the Ekstraliga for the first time in 2010. In its debut season in the top division Gryf finished 4th, and it subsequently became Pogoń's women team. It has been successful in the national cup, reaching the final for three seasons in a row between 2009 and 2011. In them Gryf lost once to AZS Wrocław and twice to Unia Racibórz. The team was dissolved after the 2012–13 Ekstraliga season. In 2022, the women's football section of Pogoń Szczecin was reactivated by merging the former women's club Olimpia Szczecin with Pogoń Szczecin.
