Police Bureau Of Investigation
Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) is a specialized unit of the Bangladesh Police that performs a criminal investigation and digital forensic service by the order of honorable court, police headquarters and the request of other police units. They investigate homicides, crime against property (dacoity, robbery, theft and fraud case etc.), sexual assaults, arson, cyber crime, and other crimes. Additional Inspector General Banaj Kumar Majumder BPM(Bar), PPM is the chief of the PBI. Organization The PBI is headed by an Additional Inspector General (Addl. IGP) and functionally his office contains most administrative units. Operationally PBI are divided by two region, namely West and East region which are headed by Additional Deputy General of Police (Addl. DIG). Also PBI are divided into 8 division, 74 district and metropolitans respectively. Banaj Kumar Majumder ( bn, বনজ কুমার মজুমদার, born 1 January 1967) is a Bangladeshi police officer. He is currently Additional IGP of Bangladesh Police and Chief of the Police Bureau of Investigation. Murder Of Nusrat Jahan Rafi
Murder of Nusrat Jahan Rafi refers to the murder of a 19–year-old Bangladeshi female student who was murdered after reporting her sexual assault by her Madrasa principal to authorities. She was from Feni, Bangladesh. She suffered burns covering over 80% of her body. She died 4 days after her assault on 10 April 2019 at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital's burn unit. The Santal or Santhal are an Austroasiatic speaking Munda ethnic group in South Asia. 2017 Dhaka RAB Camp Suicide Bombing
The 2017 Dhaka RAB Camp suicide bombing was an attempted suicide attack in the under construction compound of the elite Rapid Action Battalion in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 17 March 2017. The suicide attempt failed to cause any mass casualties, injuries or deaths. Only the lone suicide bomber died.
