The Police Battalion 307 (''Polizeibattalion 307'') was a formation of the Order Police (uniformed police) during the Nazi era. Erich Julius Eberhard von dem Bach-Zelewski (born Erich Julius Eberhard von Zelewski; 1 March 1899 – 8 March 1972) was a high-ranking SS commander of Nazi Germany. During World War II, he was in charge of the Nazi security warfare against those designated by the regime as ideological enemies and any other persons deemed to present danger to the Nazi rule or ''Wehrmacht''s rear security in the occupied territories of Eastern Europe. It mostly involved atrocities against the civilian population. In 1944 he led the brutal suppression of the Warsaw Uprising. The 11th SS Police Regiment () was initially named the Police Regiment for Special Employment (''Polizei-Regiment zbV'') when it was formed around the beginning of 1942 from existing Order Police () units for security duties on the Eastern Front. Organisation Todt (OT; ) was a civil and military engineering organisation in Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945, named for its founder, Fritz Todt, an engineer and senior Nazi.
