Pola Alonso
Pola Alonso (16 November 1923 – 6 November 2004 Buenos Aires) was a classic Argentine film actress of the 1940s and 1950s. She appeared in the 1942 film ''Adolescencia'' and in 1955's '' Adiós muchachos''. She was the sister of Argentine actor Tito Alonso. The plot revolves around the breakdown of a building's elevator, trapping its passengers. The breakdown occurs just before midnight on the last day of the year. The elevator operator is Alberto Olmedo, who still had some hair at the time. The light comedy includes various gags and humorous situations. The film was one of the last in which Carlos Gandolfo appeared as an actor. After being diagnosed with throat cancer, he turned to directing and teaching. Hoy ( sco, Hoy; from Norse , meaning "high island") is an island in Orkney, Scotland, measuring – the second largest in the archipelago, after Mainland. Tito Alonso
Tito Alonso (1926–1979) was an Argentine film actor. Career Alonso entered film in 1940 at the age of 14 in ''El Inglés de los güesos'' In 1947 he appeared in ''A sangre fría''. Alonso worked consistently in Argentine film throughout the 1950s, 60s and 1970s appearing in the 1964 popular film ''Aconcagua'' amongst many others. Alonso also appeared in the 1974 film '' Agentes Secretos Contra Guante Verde''. He made a number of appearances on TV in Argentina in the late 1960s and 1970s until his premature death in 1979 aged 53.
