Pokémon Apokélypse
''Pokémon Apokélypse'' is a 2010 fan-made short film directed by Kial Natale and produced by Dylan Innes and Lee Majdoub. The creators initially intended to reveal the film at the Vancouver ''Anime Evolution'' convention, it was not shown due to technical difficulties. Instead on September 14, 2010, it revealed online via a teaser segment distributed through emails sent to various media outlets, which presented itself as a recording of a "secret movie trailer screening" for a film in development. The full film followed shortly thereafter, posted online on September 20. The result of almost two years of work, the film follows Ash Ketchum ...

Pokémon Theme
"Pokémon Theme" (also known as "Gotta catch ’em all!") is a song written by John Siegler and John Loeffler and performed by Jason Paige. It is the original theme song for the first season of the English adaptation of the ''Pokémon'' anime. Since its release, the song has been virtually synonymous with the ''Pokémon'' franchise because the line "Gotta catch ’em all!" has become its official English slogan; it is derived from the Japanese ポケモンGETだぜ! ("''Pokemon'' 'getto''''da ze!''"). "Pokémon Theme" is a fast-paced pop rock song with continuous male vocals intermixed with backup vocal accompaniment that also sings the chorus: "Pokémon! (Gotta catch ’em all!"). History Siegler and Loeffler wrote the lyrics to the song while Siegler (previously a bassist for bands including Todd Rundgren's Utopia and Hall & Oates) produced the track, also playing keyboards, bass, and drums. David Rolfe, the vocalist for later themes of the series, played the guitar w ...

Professor Oak
Professor (commonly abbreviated as Prof.) is an academic rank at universities and other post-secondary education and research institutions in most countries. Literally, ''professor'' derives from Latin as a "person who professes". Professors are usually experts in their field and teachers of the highest rank. In most systems of academic ranks, "professor" as an unqualified title refers only to the most senior academic position, sometimes informally known as "full professor". This usage would be considered incorrect among other academic communities. However, the otherwise unqualified title "Professor" designated with a capital letter nearly always refers to a full professo ...
