Point Blank (1967 Film)
''Point Blank'' is a 1967 Cinema of the United States, American crime film directed by John Boorman, starring Lee Marvin, co-starring Angie Dickinson, Keenan Wynn and Carroll O'Connor, and adapted from the 1963 crime noir pulp novel ''The Hunter (Stark novel), The Hunter'' by Donald E. Westlake, writing as Richard Stark. Boorman directed the film at Marvin's request and Marvin played a central role in the film's development. The film was not a box-office success in 1967, but has since gone on to become a Cult film, cult classic, eliciting praise from such critics as film historian David Thomson (film critic), David Thomson. John Boorman
Sir John Boorman (; born 18 January 1933) is a British film director, best known for feature films such as ''Point Blank'' (1967), ''Hell in the Pacific'' (1968), ''Deliverance'' (1972), ''Zardoz'' (1974), '' Exorcist II: The Heretic'' (1977), ''Excalibur'' (1981), ''The Emerald Forest'' (1985), '' Hope and Glory'' (1987), '' The General'' (1998), ''The Tailor of Panama'' (2001) and '' Queen and Country'' (2014). Stu Gardner
Stuart Gardner is an American musician and composer. He is known for his collaborations with Bill Cosby, and for co-writing "Kiss Me", the theme song of Cosby's sitcom ''The Cosby Show''. He produced the album '' A House Full of Love: Music from The Cosby Show'', and was the musical director of '' Cos'', ''The Cosby Show'' and its spin-off, ''A Different World''. Career Gardner appeared in the 1967 film ''Point Blank'' as the singer in the nightclub scene, singing, "Mighty Good Times", which was written by Gardner, and appears on the film's soundtrack album. Sidney Eddie Mosesian (July 14, 1939 – September 21, 2019), known professionally as Sid Haig, was an American actor, film producer, and musician. James Barrie Sikking (born March 5, 1934) is a former American actor, most known for his role as Lt. Howard Hunter on the 1980s TV series ''Hill Street Blues''. Early years Sikking was born in Los Angeles on March 5, 1934 to Andy and Sue (née Paxton) Sikking. His mother co-founded Santa Monica's Unity-by-the-Sea Church. Fort Point, San Francisco
Fort Point is a masonry Seacoast defense in the United States, seacoast fortification located on the southern side of the Golden Gate at the entrance to San Francisco Bay. It is also the geographic name of the promontory upon which the fort and the southern approach of the Golden Gate Bridge were constructed.
