Plymouth is a town in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. The population was 3,115 at the time of the 2000 census. It is included in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. The City of Plymouth is located within the town, but is politically independent. The unincorporated community of New Paris is also located in the town. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 31.5 square miles (81.6 km2), of which, 31.5 square miles (81.5 km2) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km2) of it (0.10%) is water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 3,115 people, 1,092 households, and 885 families residing in the town. The population density was 99.0 people per square mile (38.2/km2). There were 1,178 housing units at an average density of 37.4 per square mile (14.5/km2). Henry Krumrey
Henry Krumrey (February 3, 1852 – January 13, 1922) was an American farmer, businessman, and politician. Biography Born in Plymouth, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, Krumrey was a farmer and livestock dealer. In 1912, he helped found the Wisconsin Cheese Production Federation. Krumrey was active in the Republican Party as a presidential elector in the United States presidential election of 1900 and a delegate to the Republican Party Convention of 1908. In Plymouth, Krumrey served as supervisor, town chairman, and treasurer. He also served on the school board as one of the directors. In 1901, Krumrey served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and then in the Wisconsin State Senate from 1909 to 1913. La Fayette Eastman (January 22, 1819 – April 27, 1898) was an American politician who served as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. Early life Eastman was born in Ellisburg, New York. Career A pioneer settler of Plymouth, Wisconsin, Eastman owned two farms and a sawmill in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, and served as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1876 to 1880.
