The Town of Plymouth is a located in Rock County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,270 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated community of Hanover is located in the town. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 35.7 square miles (92.3 km2), of which, 35.6 square miles (92.3 km2) of it is land and 0.03% is water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 1,270 people, 441 households, and 366 families residing in the town. The population density was 35.6 people per square mile (13.8/km2). There were 454 housing units at an average density of 12.7 per square mile (4.9/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 98.11% White, 0.55% Native American, 0.16% Asian, 0.16% from other races, and 1.02% from two or more races.
