Plunderer (character)
The Plunderer is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character exists in Marvel's shared universe, known as the Marvel Universe. Publication history The character of the Plunderer was initially introduced in the Marvel comic book '' Daredevil'' #12 (January 1966), and was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby. He was the brother of the character Ka-Zar, as revealed in his origin story in ''Daredevil'' #13. He also made significant appearances in subsequent comics throughout the 60's, 70's, and early 80's, including ''Tales to Astonish'' #95-98 (September-December 1967), '' Marvel Super-Heroes'' #19 (March 1969), ''Astonishing Tales'' #11 (April 1972), and #17-20 (April-June 1973), ''Fantastic Four'' #191 (February 1978), ''Rom'' #13 (December 1980), and ''Ka-Zar the Savage'' #31-33 (April, June and August 1984). Mark Waid
Mark Waid (; born March 21, 1962) is an American comic book writer best known for his work on DC Comics titles ''The Flash'', '' Kingdom Come'' and '' Superman: Birthright'' as well as his work on ''Captain America'', ''Fantastic Four'' and '' Daredevil'' for Marvel. From August 2007 to December 2010, Waid served as Editor-in-Chief and later Chief Creative Officer of Boom! Studios, where he also published his creator-owned series ''Irredeemable'' and ''Incorruptible''. In October 2018, Waid joined Humanoids Publishing as Director of Creative Development before being promoted to Publisher in February 2020. In addition to that, Waid has written for a variety of comics publishers, including Fantagraphics, Event, Top Cow, Dynamite and Archie Comics. Early life Waid was born in Hueytown, Alabama. Rhino (comics)
The Rhino (Aleksei Sytsevich; English: Ah-lek-say sit-seh-vich; Russian: Алексей Сицевич) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He was created by writer Stan Lee and artist John Romita Sr., and first appeared in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #41 (Oct. 1966). The character is a Russian thug who underwent an experimental procedure that gave him an artificial skin covering and superhuman strength. Rebelling against the scientists responsible for his transformation, Rhino used his newfound powers to become a successful criminal, and soon clashed with superheroes like Spider-Man and the Hulk. The character is typically portrayed as a dimwitted brute, capable of great destruction, but ultimately easily deceived.
