Pleasure Train
''Pleasure Train'' is the first album by singer, songwriter, producer and composer Teri DeSario, released in 1978 by Casablanca (NBLP 7115). The album includes the disco hit " Ain't Nothing Gonna Keep Me from You", which was written and co-produced by Barry Gibb. The version featured on this album is different from the 12" version. Also included was "You're the Stuff Dreams Are Made Of", which peaked at number forty-one on the disco chart. CD release Gold Legion released ''Pleasure Train'' on CD in early June 2012 as an expanded edition. The track listing included the extended 12" versions of "Ain't Nothing Gonna Keep Me from You" and "The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of". Don Gehman
Don Gehman is an American record producer, engineer, and executive, best known for his work with John Mellencamp and Hootie & the Blowfish. He was one of "the most successful producers of the 1980s and 1990s." As a sound engineer, he also helped invent the modern rock P.A. and monitor systems. Early life Gehman was born in Blue Ball, Pennsylvania. As a child, he was interested in science and his parent's Magnavox stereo. His interests evolved from a photography dark room in the basement to chemistry to physics to electronics. He played bass guitar in a rock band when he was fourteen years old. George Terry (musician)
George Terry (born 1950) is an American rock and blues guitarist and songwriter best known for his work with Eric Clapton in the 1970s and as a session musician with other artists, including ABBA, the Bee Gees, Joe Cocker, Andy Gibb, Freddie King, Diana Ross, Stephen Stills, and Kenny Rogers. Career George Terry is a South Florida guitarist, bassist, and songwriter, who began playing with several bands in the late 1960s, including GAME who released two albums in 1970 and 1971. Jimmy Johnson (session Guitarist)
Jimmy Ray Johnson (February 4, 1943 – September 5, 2019) was an American session guitarist and record producer. Johnson was a member of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section who was attached to FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, for a period in the 1960s. In 1969, with the backing of Atlantic Records executive Jerry Wexler, Johnson became a co-founder of the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, along with drummer Roger Hawkins, bassist David Hood, and keyboardist Barry Beckett. The studio was originally located at 3614 Jackson Highway in Sheffield and later moved to 1000 Alabama Avenue, also in Sheffield. Johnson performed with Wilson Pickett and Aretha Franklin. He also engineered three tracks on the Rolling Stones' album ''Sticky Fingers''. He died from kidney failure in 2019 at the age of 76. David Hood
David Hood (born September 21, 1943) is an American bassist from Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He also plays the trombone. He is a member of the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. Early life and education Hood was born in Sheffield, Alabama and attended the University of North Alabama. Career Hood started his career playing with the Mystics and as a backup musician at FAME Studios. He went on to co-found Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, where he produced songs for Willie Nelson, Cher and others.
