James Vincent Hall (born January 2, 1968, in Harris County, Texas, United States) is an American rock singer and guitarist, best known for his gothic-style lyrics, distinctive voice, eccentric behavior and eclectic compositions. Early career – Mary My Hope and solo Before launching his solo career in 1990, James Hall was the singer for Atlanta band, Mary My Hope, which released one album entitled ''Museum'' in 1989, and one EP, 1990's ''Suicide Kings'', both on RCA/ Silvertone. An expanded version of Suicide Kings appeared at the same time, called ''Monster Is Bigger Than The Man''. This contained, in addition to the unreleased material and Museum album cuts, two live tracks recorded at the Princess Charlotte in Leicester, England. ''Pleasure Club'' is an album by the American rock musician James Hall, released in 1996. Starting over in the 2000s, Hall named his band for the album. Hall supported the album by opening for Rage Against the Machine on a European tour, and for Love and Rockets in the United States. ''Pleasure Clubs first single was "Honky Time". Production The album was produced primarily by Phil Nicolo. Hall took more satisfaction from his live show, and regarded the album as a primer for what he could do onstage. Critical reception ''Trouser Press'' wrote that "Hall’s singing is more ragged and urgent; he’s finally developed a distinctive vocal style of his own." Ours is an American-based rock band led by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Gnecco. History Harmony Bandits and Sour Since their creation in 1990, the line-up has evolved many times, but Gnecco has always felt that having a rotating group of musicians who could play off each other was important. In high school, Gnecco was in the band Lost Child and later, The Harmony Bandits, which eventually evolved into what is now Ours. In 1994, Ours released their first album titled ''Sour'' under their own label Beatnik Records, owned by Mike Marri. Afterwards, the band dissolved and did not reform again for several years. Jimmy Gnecco
James Francis Gnecco III (born September 30, 1973) is an American singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist who makes music both under his name and the moniker Ours. Gnecco is known for his multi-octave vocal range and singing style, often described as 'dramatic and emotional'. Career Gnecco began making music in 1988. He would play under the names Lost Child and Harmony Bandits before Ours formed officially in 1992. Gnecco's first album, ''Sour'' (1994), was a demo compilation with which he was dissatisfied. Brad is an American rock band that formed in Seattle, Washington in 1992. Michael Jerome Moore, known as Michael Jerome is an American rock musician and drummer. He is a former member of the Toadies (1990–91), Course of Empire (1994–1998), and James Hall's band Pleasure Club, which was formed in 2002. He was a member of the Saginaw, Texas band Pop Poppins, a metroplex cult follow. He played on Charlie Musselwhite's 2004 release ''Sanctuary'', and has also toured or recorded with Blind Boys of Alabama, John Cale, Anna Egge, Tom Freund and many others. Jerome is double-jointed and ambidextrous.
