Playz
Playz (stylised as playz) is an online service belonging to Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE), the Spanish public broadcaster, streaming free-to-air content for a young audience. It was launched on 30 October 2017. History Embedded within the RTVE webpage, Playz was launched on 30 October 2017, with the release of ''Colegas'', , ''Dorien'' and ''Inhibidos''. The launch was predated by the premiere of another original release on 11 September 2017, '' Si fueras tú'', a transmedia fiction series loosely adapting the New Zealand series ''Reservoir Hill'' which served to promote the kickstart of the platform. Programming The platform aims towards a young audience, from 15 to 35 years, intending to draw the interest from that demographics, with decreasing viewership figures in traditional television. ''Grasa'' () is a Spanish dramedy streaming television series written and directed by which stars Kike Pérez in the leading role. Produced by RTVE and Entertainment, it premiered on Playz in 2020. Premise Set in Seville, the fiction follows the life of Pedro Marrero, aka "El Grasa", an overweight criminal with an unhealthy lifestyle who suffers from a heart attack and then decides to radically change his life in order to improve on his health condition and stay alive. ''Riders'' is a Spanish comedy thriller streaming television series. Created and written by Javi Valera and Alejandro Alcaraz, it stars Ismael Abadal, Catalina Sopelana and Germán Alcarazu. ''Yrreal'' is a Spanish action thriller television series created by Alberto Utrera and Paula Sánchez for Playz which stars Angy Fernández and Veki Velilla. It premiered on 17 November 2021. The series blends live action footage with 2D animation.
