Play was a Swedish pop girl group. Faye Hamlin, Anna Sundstrand, Anaïs Lameche, and Rosie Munter formed Play's original lineup from the band's formation from 2000 until late 2003. Anna Maria Karolina Sundstrand (born 22 February 1989) is a Swedish singer. She is an original member of the Swedish pop group, Play. Early life Sundstrand was born on 22 February 1989 in Stockholm, Sweden. She began dancing when she was four years old and attended Sway Dance School in Stockholm as well as her bandmate Anaïs Lameche. She is a relative of the Swedish actress Greta Garbo. Play (2001–2005) Sundstrand was asked to join Play by the group's manager, Laila Bagge, who discovered Sundstrand at her dancing school after seeing her performing at the school. Sundstrand was the first member of the new group, in which she sang alto harmonies and solos. Leon began her career as part of the pop group Play, for which she was lead singer 2003–2005. Anaïs Helena Lameche Bonnier ( née Kretz Lameche; born 19 August 1987) is a Swedish former singer and one of the original members of the Swedish pop group Play. She is the only member of Play out of its seven different members to appear in all four different line-ups of the group. Before the band's split, she was also the last remaining original member of the group since Faye's second departure in January 2011. She quit the music industry in 2011.
