Biljana Plavšić
Biljana Plavšić ( sr-Cyrl, Биљана Плавшић; born 7 July 1930) is a former Bosnian Serb politician and university professor who served as President of Republika Srpska and was later convicted of crimes against humanity for her role in the Bosnian War. Plavšić was indicted in 2001 by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) for war crimes committed during the Bosnian War. She plea-bargained with the ICTY and was sentenced to 11 years in prison in 2003, to be served in a Swedish prison. She was released on 27 October 2009 after serving two-thirds of her sentence. Plavšić is, together with Radovan Karadžić, the highest ranking Bosnian Serb politician to be sentenced. Before entering politics, she taught biology at the University of Sarajevo. Branko Plavšić
Branko Plavšić (1949 – 2011) was a Serbian comic book artist, best known for his work on ''Tarzan'' and '' Blek''. Professional career Still a student, Plavšić published his early drawings in ''Male novine'' (Oslobođenje, Sarajevo). Inspired by the works of Hal Foster and Jijé as well as Aleksandar Hecl's ''Tarzan'' illustrations, he submitted a couple of samples to Dečje novine in 1966. Editor Srećko Jovanović asked Plavšić to come up with a complete story, after which he was hired. Plavšić went on to work on a war comic called ''Mirko and Slavko'', the most popular Yugoslav title of the 1960s, published in the ''Nikad robom'' series as well as children's magazines ''Zeka'' and ''Tik-tak''. Srđan Plavšić ( sr-cyr, Срђан Плавшић; born 3 December 1995) is a Serbian professional Association football, footballer who plays for Polish club Raków Częstochowa. He can operate as an attacking midfielder, Midfielder#Wide midfielder, side midfielder or winger (association football), winger. Club career Early years Plavšić played in FK Vojvodina's youth system, but was told that he was too small to make it for Vojvodina's first team. He began playing football on a senior level with FK ČSK Čelarevo, ČSK Čelarevo in the lower tiers of the Serbian football pyramid. He played in Čelarevo for two seasons before moving to FK Spartak Subotica, Spartak Subotica. Adrien Plavsic
Adrien Plavsic (born January 13, 1970) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played eight seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). Biography As a youth, Plavsic played in the 1982 and 1983 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments with a minor ice hockey team from the North Shore of Montreal. In the NHL, he played for the St. Louis Blues, Vancouver Canucks, Tampa Bay Lightning and the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. Drafted 30th overall by St. Louis in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft, Plavsic played 214 regular season games in the NHL, scoring 16 goals and 56 assists for 72 points and clocking up 151 penalty minutes.
