''Planet Cosmo'' is a British-Irish children’s animated television series about space. The series formerly aired on RTÉjr. Premise Cosmo and her family live on the moon and explore space together. Through fun, songs and adventure, children learn about all planets of the Solar System. Characters Cosmo (voiced by Ali Lyons) The main character of the series. She is a young astronaut who loves to go explore the planets with Dad. Sol (voiced by Elijah O'Sullivan) A younger astronaut who is Cosmo's little brother. He speaks in a lisp. Dad (voiced by Jason Tammemagi, Jason Tammemägi) Cosmo's dad; he is very silly and sometimes clumsy. Jason Tammemagi
Jason Tammemagi is the creator, writer and director of preschool show, ''Fluffy Gardens''. He also directed ''Roobarb & Custard Too'', ''Planet Cosmo'', and Irish animated drama, ''Ballybraddan''. Jason was Creative Director of Geronimo Productions (formerly Monster Animation & Design, production company of ''Fluffy Gardens'', ''Ballybraddan'', and ''Punky (animated series), Punky'') which was awarded European Producer of the Year at the Cartoon Forum 2011. He is now Creative Director of children's media company, Mooshku. Jason has a background in classical animation and directed commercials before working on ''Roobarb'' with A&B TV. From there, he created ''Fluffy Gardens'', which began airing in 2007. The show has now sold to over 100 countries worldwide. RTÉjr
RTÉjr is an Irish free-to-air children's television channel operated by state-owned broadcaster RTÉ. The channel mainly targets a demographic of 2- to 7-year-olds, but some cartoons for older children also air. The channel is part of RTÉ KIDS. The channel broadcasts 12 hours of programming each day between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. It is supported by radio station RTÉ Junior and additional services available on-demand, on mobile and online. The channel operates alongside its sister strand TRTÉ on RTÉ2. Paul Tylak
Paul Tylak is an Irish writer, actor and comedian. Personal life Paul Tylak was born to an Irish mother and Sri Lankan father, and grew up between Ireland and England. He attended the now closed De Burgh School in Tadworth, Surrey. He has lived in Tallaght since 2002, and has two children Reuben and Calvin.
