Plainedge High School
Plainedge High School is an American public high school (and the only high school) in the hamlet of North Massapequa, Long Island, New York, and is part of the Plainedge Union Free School District. Plainedge High School's football coach, Robert Shaver, was accused of running up the score in a game against South Side on 25 October 2019, which ended in a score of 61–13 in favor of Plainedge. As punishment, Shaver was suspended for one game, which resulted in widespread criticism from sports journalists, and an email to all on superintendent Edward Salina's mailing list in support of Shaver. North Massapequa is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) located on Long Island within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, on Long Island, in New York, United States. It is considered part of the Greater Massapequa area, which is anchored by Massapequa. The population was 17,886 at the 2010 census. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of , all land. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 19,152 people, 6,281 households, and 5,288 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 6,333.0 per square mile (2,448.6/km2). Jim Hodder (musician)
Jim Hodder (December 17, 1947 – June 5, 1990) was an American drummer, best known as an early member of Steely Dan. After leading the Boston-based group The Bead Game, Hodder moved to Los Angeles to join the first lineup of Steely Dan. He appeared on their first three albums before leaving the group in 1974. Howard Safir (born February 24, 1942) is an American law enforcement professional who served as the 39th New York City Police Commissioner from 1996 to 2000 and the 29th New York City Fire Commissioner from 1994 to 1996, under Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Ruby Mazur is an American artist who has created the cover art of over 3,000 albums for artists including The Rolling Stones, B.B. King, Sarah Vaughn, Elton John and Ray Charles. David Landsberg
David Landsberg (September 3, 1944 – August 5, 2018) was an American actor, writer, and producer. He was sometimes credited as Dave Landsburg. He both acted in and co-wrote several comedies throughout the 1980s. Early life David Landsberg was born in Brooklyn, New York City, New York.
