Places For Breathing
''Places for Breathing'' is the first studio album by American post-grunge band Revis. Released in May 2003 on Epic Records, it was recorded in 2002 at NRG Recording Studios in North Hollywood. The album features the singles " Caught in the Rain" and "Seven" and debuted at number one on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. Writing and recording All songs were written on acoustic guitar before being demoed. Guitarist Nathaniel Cox wrote all lyrics with some input by vocalist Justin Holman. "A Gift," "Seven," and "Straight Jacket Labels" served as the band's first three demos produced by Tommy Henriksen and Jeff Tilson. They then recorded "Caught in the Rain" and "Spin" to encourage further label hype prior to being signed. Upon their joining Epic Records, Revis worked with famed producer Don Gilmore as well as Andy Wallace and Alan Moulder on mixing. Revis
Revis was an American post-grunge band from Carbondale, Illinois. They released one major label album, '' Places for Breathing'', in 2003 before disbanding in 2005. After a five-year hiatus, the band reformed in 2010 and began work on a follow-up EP, ''Fire and Ice''. The sessions were so prolific that the project turned into a full album release with a new name, now titled '' Do We Have to Beg?''. The album was completed and scheduled for release on May 20, 2011, however, "legal issues" and internal disagreements with their record label kept them from releasing the album, quietly delaying it days before release. The band initially announced plans to re-record the entire album without the help of a label, but after a quiet year with few updates, the band announced they had broken up in May 2012, without any plans on releasing the album outside of a few songs that had been released previously for promotional purposes. Creed (band)
Creed was an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida, formed in 1994. For most of its existence, the band consisted of lead vocalist Scott Stapp, guitarist and vocalist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips. Creed released two studio albums, ''My Own Prison'' in 1997 and ''Human Clay'' in 1999, before Marshall left the band in 2000. The band's third album, ''Weathered'', was released in 2001, with Tremonti on bass guitar. Creed disbanded in 2004; Stapp pursued a solo career while Tremonti, Marshall, and Phillips founded the band Alter Bridge with Myles Kennedy. In 2009, Creed reunited for a fourth album, '' Full Circle'', then toured until 2012. In the field of recorded music, a hidden track (sometimes called a ghost track, secret track or unlisted track) is a song or a piece of audio that has been placed on a CD, audio cassette, LP record, or other recorded medium, in such a way as to avoid detection by the casual listener.
