Piz Vatgira
Piz Vatgira () is a mountain of the Lepontine Alps and part of the extended Saint-Gotthard Massif, located south of Sedrun in the canton of Graubünden. The mountain lies between the valleys of Nalps and Medel, about halfway between Lai da Nalps and Lai da Sontga Maria. On its east side is a small glacier ending in the lake named ''Lai Verd'' (2,702 m). Piz Vatgira, or more precisely a lower 2,981 metre-high summit 350 metres south of the main summit, lies exactly above the Gotthard Base Tunnel, at its deepest point. The tunnel, the longest and deepest in the world, runs below the ground. Lai Da Sontga Maria
__NOTOC__ Lai da Sontga Maria (Italian: ''Lago di Santa Maria'') is a lake, located north of the Lukmanier Pass in Switzerland. It lies almost entirely in the municipality of Medel (canton of Graubünden), a tiny fraction of the south-west part of the lake belonging to the municipalities of Quinto and Blenio (canton of Ticino). The reservoir has a surface area is . The arch dam Santa Maria, which is to the north of the lake, was completed in 1968. The main road of the Lukmanier Pass runs along the eastern shore of the lake. The lake lies at a height of 1,908 metres above sea level and is surrounded by mountains over 3,000 metres on both sides. Pizzo dell'Uomo is a mountain of the Lepontine Alps and part of the extended Saint-Gotthard Massif, located between Lai da Sontga Maria and Pizzo del Sole, in the canton of Ticino, just southwest of the Passo del Lucomagno.
