Piyush Chawla
Piyush Chawla (; born 24 December 1988) is an Indian cricketer who has played for the India national cricket team. He has also played for the India under-19 team and the Central Zone. He is seen as a leg-spinning all-rounder in domestic cricket. He spent his childhood in Moradabad, and learnt early essentials of cricket at Sonakpur Stadium under the guidance of his first coach Mr Badhruddeen, who has also coached Indian National cricketer Mohammad Shami, and young talents like Shiva Singh(India U-19) and Aryan Juyal(India U-19). Piyush Chawla completed his schooling at Wilsonia College. Career Chawla first played for India U-19 against the England U-19 team in 2004–05, claiming 13 wickets from two Under-19 Tests at a bowling average of just above 12. He also played in the 2005–06 home series against Australia U-19, where they won the five-match limited overs series 4–1, taking eight wickets. 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy
The 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy was the 18th season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, a List A cricket tournament in India. It took place in September and October 2019, after the 2019–20 Duleep Trophy, Duleep Trophy and before the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy, Ranji Trophy. Cricketer
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj Singh (born 12 December 1981) is a former Indian international cricketer who played in all formats of the game. He is an all-rounder who batted left-handed in the middle order and bowled slow left-arm orthodox . Googly
In the game of cricket, a googly refers to a type of delivery bowled by a right-arm leg spin bowler. It is different from the normal delivery for a leg-spin bowler in that it is turning the other way. The googly is ''not'' a variation of the typical off spin type of delivery, in that the cricket ball is presented from the bowler's hand in such a way that once the ball pitches; instead, it deviates in the opposite direction of a leg spinning type of delivery (i.e. towards the leg stump rather than the off stump). It has also been colloquially referred to as the wrong'un, Bosie or Bosey, with the latter two eponyms referring to Bernard Bosanquet, the bowler who originally devised and began using the googly. Bowled
In cricket, the term bowled has several meanings. First, is the act of propelling the ball towards the wicket defended by a batsman. Challenger Trophy
The NKP Salve Challenger Trophy, commonly referred to as the Challenger Series, was an Indian List A cricket tournament organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Established in the 1994–1995 season, the tournament was played to showcase the country's talent and providing opportunities for younger players to make an impression. The tournament was played in October every year until the 2013–14 season before Ranji Trophy season. From 1998 to 1999 the tournament was known as the NKP Salve Challenger Trophy, named after former Board of Control for Cricket in India president N. K. P. Bowling Average
In cricket, a player's bowling average is the number of runs they have conceded per wicket taken. The lower the bowling average is, the better the bowler is performing. It is one of a number of statistics used to compare bowlers, commonly used alongside the economy rate and the strike rate to judge the overall performance of a bowler. When a bowler has taken only a small number of wickets, their bowling average can be artificially high or low, and unstable, with further wickets taken or runs conceded resulting in large changes to their bowling average.
